# Displaying Position

From `Options` → `Position`, choose how you prefer your position to be displayed.

From `Options` → `Position`, choose your preferred units.

Then in the 3D view, hold down `LCTRL` + `SHIFT` to turn your mouse into a laser pointer. The position of the laser pointer will be displayed in the top left corner. Do not point the laser pointer at the eyes of any pilot.
