# Engagements

For this last section, we are switching to another file to better illustrate some points about engagements. Demo-Engagement-Ranges.acmi is available on the Tacview website if you wish to follow along. <https://tacview.net/download/addons/>

Engagement ranges in the form of colored half-spheres are displayed on appropriate objects by default.

If there is a line of sight between two selected objects, the line joining the objects will be green:

If there is no line of sight between the two objects, because the view is blocked by terrain for example, the line becomes a dotted red line:
