# Basic Telemetry

Continuing with our example from the previous section, go to **Analysis → Telemetry 1** to view telemetry for our primary selected object, Dallas. (Telemetry 2 will display the telemetry of any secondary selected object.):

The **Telemetry 1** window appears. Click with the left mouse button on the menu bar of the window and drag to place the window where you want it. It can float or be docked using the docking guides:

Here is a list of the acronymns used and their definitions:

| G       | G-Force                           |
| RRT     | Roll Rate                         |
| TRT     | Turn Rate                         |
| TRD     | Turn Radius                       |
| GS      | Ground Speed                      |
| AGL     | Altitude - Above Ground Level     |
| VS      | Vertical Speed                    |
| Roll    | Roll                              |
| Pitch   | Pitch                             |
| γ       | Flight Path                       |
| Fuel    | Fuel Remaining (weight or volume) |
| FF      | Fuel Flow (weight or volume)      |

Tacview is used internationally, so you may need to switch to your preferred units. Go to **Options → Units**:

Customize object labels by first clicking on the **Display Object ID** button to display the labels and then by using the drop-down menu to specify which telemetry values you wish to see on selected aircraft and unselected objects. Note that the information has to be entered separately for these two categories of object.
