# Colors

Starting with Tacview 1.8.8, colors may be customized and new colors may be added, as follows:

Locate the `XML` file

`C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacview\Data\Xml\Data-ObjectsColors.xml`

and copy it to the folder

`%PROGRAMDATA%\ProgramData\Tacview\Data\Xml\`

Open the file and edit or add colors as desired.

Re-launch Tacview and edit the color of the object by right-clicking on the object and going to `Edit Object` → `Color`
